Ground Source Heat Pumps

The earth is warmed by the sun and this warmth is stored close to the surface.
A ground source heat pump will extract this by a long fluid filled pipe – either vertical borehole or trench system.

Heat pumps work most effectively when they heat water to relatively low temperatures. This makes them most effective when combined with under-floor heating.
